No Sharia and religious laws rally and in solidarity with resisting people of Iran

Join us for a Rally organised by One Law for All against Sharia and religious laws and for secularism and universal rights
Where: Richmond Terrace junction with Whitehall opposite Downing Street (SW1A 2) . (Please note venue change from Trafalgar Square made by police; closest underground: Westminster.)
When: 14:00-16:00 hours
Then join us for a March organised by Iran Solidarity to show solidarity with people in Iran who are at the forefront of battling Sharia law and political Islam
Where: From Downing Street to the embassy of the Islamic regime of Iran (16 Prince's Gate, London SW7 1PT; closest underground: Knightsbridge).
When: 16:00-17:00 hours
The march will end at 17:30 hours.
One Law for All and Iran Solidarity call on people everywhere to join the 20 June protest in London or to organise rallies or acts of solidarity in various cities across the globe to mark the day when 27-year-old Neda Agha-Soltan was shot dead by the Islamic regime of Iran’s security forces at a protest in Tehran. Her demand for freedom in the face of all-out repression has made her a symbol of people everywhere.

Prizes for our Art Competition will be awarded at the March 7 public meeting. People can still participate in the competition by submitting a painting, drawing, photograph, animation or short video in digital format no later than February 27, 2009. The goal of the art competition is to expose the discriminatory nature of Sharia and religious-based tribunals and/or promote equal rights for all citizens, as embodied by the campaign's emblematic phrase: One Law for All. All submissions will be reviewed by a panel of prominent judges, namely, AC Grayling (Philosopher), Deeyah (Singer), Johann Hari (Journalist and Playwright) and Polly Toynbee (Writer and Columnist).
